The C05P is a cable trolley with a plastic saddle for Crane-Controls.com's own-brand C-Rail festoon system — a device that moves along a cable or wire rope, providing support and guidance while minimizing friction and wear on the cable.

C05P is a carrier-style trolley: it rides the C-rail track and supports the cable as the crane moves. It's paired with the C06 tow trolley, which is mechanically pulled by the crane's motion to draw the cable loop along — a festoon run typically uses one C06 tow trolley alongside several C05P carrier trolleys like this one. (C016T, C025T, and C036T are tow trolleys built for round-cable applications elsewhere in the C-Rail line and aren't compatible with C05P.) Saddle-material variants are also available: C05S (steel saddle) and C05SS (304 stainless steel).
