The FC1004 is a 4-conductor, 10-gauge flat festoon cable from Crane-Controls.com's festoon cable line, built to carry power and control signals to a crane, hoist, monorail, or other equipment that travels with a lateral traversing motion. Like the rest of the FC series, it uses soft drawn bare copper conductors with 105°C-rated, color-coded PVC insulation under a yellow PVC jacket, rated for indoor and outdoor use.

FC1004 is sold by the foot, and is one of several gauge and conductor-count combinations in the FC series — from FC0404 (4-conductor, 4 AWG) down to FC1608 (8-conductor, 16 AWG) — so it can be matched to the specific current-carrying and control-signal requirements of a given festoon run.

    bare copper conductors, built with 105 individual strands, are built for repeated flexing as the cable travels with the festoon system.
